    Wonderful stay - again.
    Visited the place for the second time. I really enjoy the intimacy of the place. Small destination, with only few villas / rooms. Great personnel and beautiful decorations. Very good food.
    A bit far away from actitivies. This place is great for resting and taking time for yourself. During the low tide, the beach is not so great.

    This vacation was something special for us! We didnt paid that much attention before the booking in regards to the beach. As we expected a sandy beach as we knew it from previous holidays. However it turned out that this was not that big issue for us as it got overcompensated many times by the hospitality of the peoples working there. It is hard to put it in words, you simply have to experience it. Two minor things are that it would be nice if the kitchen would offer a dinner plan which lasts for 10 days or two weeks, actually the food is repeating each week. However the quality and the kindness of the chef and the entire kitchen team is simply outstanding. The 2nd minor thing is the small bridge leading the way into the ocean. It is almost impossible, especially for older people to climb out of the water at the end of the bridge. But that should not be understood as a complain, it is just a small hint of how to improve further.

    An outstanding relaxing boutique
    The property was clean and modern. The rooms and communal areas were decorated to a high standard, providing a relaxing environment. The staff were outstanding and the food was exceptional.
    They could go round the pool offering drinks more.

    Nice, relaxing stay by the beach
    The beachfront location is nice. Feels very secluded, which was a welcome respite. Most of the staff were welcoming and the food / entertainment was enjoyable. We also really enjoyed the massage!
    One of the waiters was a bit rude. We also didnt like that it felt like the hotel was a little stingy when it came to supplying bottled (safe) water and coffee pods for our rooms espresso machine. After spending so much for a nice place to stay, it felt odd to have a daily allotment of 1 water bottle and 1 espresso pod per person.

    Staff were delightful. Themed dinners each night were wonderful and they provided excellent vegetarian alternatives for me. The rooms are beautiful and everything is so clean and well done. We loved it here.
    There isn't a sandy beach here but everything is so great we didn't care at all.

    Beyond our expectations!
    Everything was perfect. The Hotel and its facilities are amazing. The room was perfect. The staff were absolutely wonderful! We informed them that we were visiting Zanzibar on our honeymoon and they made sure that we had a memorable stay with them. From the room decorations, to the delicious food and great hospitality of the staff; everything was perfect. Special thanks to Chef Mubarak, Janeth and Esta :)

    wonderful honeymoon experience
    amazing location with a private beach, we went on a wonderful reef walk with Juma and saw puffer fish and starfish! they also have kayaks and SUPs you can take out. the chef was amazing, we really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner each day and they catered well to our vegan requests. the hotel staff are excellent and will go out of their way to give you the best experience. also highly recommend the spa treatments. the rooms are great, very quiet and comfortable

    Tranquil gem on Zanzibar island
    Tikitam Palms is an absolute gem. The hotel is nestled away on a quiet bay with beautiful views on to the Indian Ocean. At low tide you can take a walk over the coral bay to the break, observing the rock pools which teem with life. While at high, the water is warm and perfect for swimming or canoeing. We were completely spoiled by the wonderful staff - who are without exception kind & attentive. The food is second to none and our vegetarian diets were generously catered to. And if you are looking to be pampered, be sure to check in with the talented Sumi at the spa.
