One of the managers/ staff members werent particularly friendly after expressing anxiety and ptsd over lifts and one of the ladies thought it was funny and did not want to help. Made us feel very uncomfortable and when we walked in caught her giving us dirty looks on numerous occasions. We expressed our room was very dusty and had to ask for things to be refilled ie shampoo conditioner and teabags ect. Cleanliness of the rooms werent at a high standard.

The bathroom wasn't very well thought out. The sink area was too big, so it didn't leave much space for the shower, could barely turn around in the shower. The door of the shower also didn't close properly, so it leaked leaving a puddle in the bathroom. Not great for slippy tiles! Parts of the bedroom were dusty, and some stains noticed. We paid extra for the balcony view, expecting it to be something worth paying for, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The only view we got was the back street and next building.

Stay was ok, some staff could lean how smile.

Restaurant food was amazing quality and taste. Bed comfort was great.

No available parking at front of property to unload etc. Talk to council about maybe a 5 mins two car spots out the front. Only two towels, need to provide 4 so you can have dry towels for the morning. No free or cheap car parking.

Good hardware, location, service questionable.

Location was great - only a short walk to Town Hall train/light rail station. Hardware good - nice bed, room sizeable.

Service was very average. I booked through booking.com - advertised room "Suite" for 3 persons, 1 extra large double bed + sofa bed. Before checking in I requested for the sofa bed to be set up - i was advised this would be $50/night. When I called up to clarify - the person said no additional charges, and then when we arrived they said it's chargeable again. I showed them the booking, explained why we booked the suite option etc. Then they tried to "explain" that it was because my child was 10 years old - website states 12 and under stays for free. After much back and forth - they finally relented but thereafter it was curt responses from there on. The cleaning standards vary daily - everyone made the bed differently, the minibar /amenities area was dusty/not cleaned each day. One day our bins were not even emptied. We always had to ask for extra towels each day (we stayed 4 nights) despite clearly knowing we had 3 persons in the room as the sofa bed was set up.

The air conditioning did not work well as there was a towel covering the internal vent. Told the staff about it and they said they would get someone out to fix it and turn it down in the main system. Staff were nice enough but issue was never fixed and ignored. Rooms were ridiculously hot. Also, the room was never cleaned properly. Only the bed was made by the cleaners and rubbish and dirty room service dishes were never cleaned.

Lovely modern hotel with friendly staff and a nice roof top bar and pool

We upgraded to a room with a balcony which probably isn't worth doing as it looks out onto internal courtyard
