A perfect retreat for a romantic weekend away
Everything about Wheelwrights was perfect. It was a fantastic find and I have been recommending it
to friends and family since our return. The staff were unbelievably friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. We ate lunch and breakfast here and the food was excellent. Our room (No 1) was decorated to a high standard and was extremely cosy (the bed was soooo comfortable)! Cant wait for our next visit

Great food and accommodation in beautiful countryside.
The room is in a separate building to the pub so minimal noise. The food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious. It's a lovely old building in a beautiful spot in the country. When our heating wasn't working they were very quick to provide a separate fire and had it fixed by the next morning and also offered to change our room if necessary.
No complaints.

Inn was great, staff, accommodation and food.
Transport not great getting into Bath unless you drive or prebook a taxi. Just needs a bit of thought. Staff can arrange taxis which is best bet.

We received a very warm welcome, the pub was busy and there was a fire buring. The room was excellent - as it turned out it was a bit hot - with a large comfortable bed. The nearby walks were stunning - the Inn at Freshford was about 50 minutes away.
