EID Dinner and Hotel Stay Package - Inclusive of buffet breakfast & dinner for 2 + 2 kids under 12 years old
We were able to self park our car in the basement.
The hotel was extremely busy and crowded, we came to get our tickets for the park which were included with the purchase and had to wait for almost 1 hour for the team member to print it out. Breakfast was busy and there were not enough of fruits or basically anything on the buffet. Kids room was full with older children who were running very fast and being dangerous to smaller kids. When i was trying to play with my 1 yea rold daughter in a dry pool, the staff member asked me to leave as i am not allowed, but 2 gigantic boys who might be 12-15 years old who were nearly stepping on my child were allowed there. it was very dirty as well. In the room there was no chair at the desk. No hair dryer. I had low expectations from this place it it was even lower than expected.

The reception staff one of them at arrival , sneezed and wiped his nose with hands and went back to finish his work without any hygiene , and when I objected he went inside and came out again saying he washed his hands ?! They did not have any alcohol or hygiene at reception . And now Im suffering with flu since then

4. Life guards were a bit rude when we asked for towels. P.s. we are a group of nine.

Great location. Clean and nice hotel.
Great property. 5 minutes by taxi/shuttle to all amusements parks. Breakfast buffet and the Indian restaurant in the hotel were very good.

Good facilities and close proximity to other leisure activities and theme parks.
The staff getting frazzled during breakfast and being rude. Running out of cutlery, crockery, taking away things and rushing people to eat.

Caveat Emporium - customer beware!
Hotel was good. Rooms good.
I had booked this hotel through booking.com in July. Booking.com had stated that I have to pay at property directly at checkin time in Dec. However on next day (July) I recieved a mail from hotel saying that I have to pay NOW in 24 hrs or the booking will.be cancelled. I had to use my savings and pay upfront 5 months in advance. Then in Nov I recieved another mail from hotel saying that my card validity is over and I have to again pay full amount to validate card. This was absurd. We called booking.com and the hotel Yas Rotana. They replied in writing that this mail was inadvertently sent by them and I should disregard it. However imagine the mental agony and trauma I had to go through despite booking so early. Booking.com has no control over when the hotel is demanding money from customers. Basically it's armtwisting hapless customers who end up paying full amount in advance for the security of their families stay arrangements. I hold both Booking.com and the hotel Yas Rotana responsible for this lack of coordination (is it really? Or was this planned) between them by falsely stating that I have to pay the entire amount only at property at checkin and not at time of booking. I have burnt my fingers and will never again do such bookings through booking.com who is acting like just a telephone operator in Netherlands with no control or responsibility of what happens to their customers or how the hotel treats the customers. Better book directly and pay more to ensure peace of mind for family. Bad booking experience overall.
We had a perishable item for our baby which we requested hotel to put in fridge. However they were completely unaccomodative about this. This would not have costed the hotel anything. But still playing by the rule book in such cases shows that this hotel will not be accomodative of your kids needs. So keep that in mind. They will show you the rules. Better call this hotel as 'Caveat Emporium' instead of Yas Rotana.
