Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 IXB or NJP to Gangtok
On arrival at Bagdogra/Pakyong/New Jalpaiguri Station/Siliguri as per your scheduled flight. Upon arrival, you will meet our tour representative. Start your journey towards Gangtok, a perfect destination for tourists in search of enchantment, tranquility, trekking, or any other adventure - The land of monasteries, mystic rituals/festivals at an elevation of 1,437 meters / 4,715 feet is the most often visited spot in India for its rare Orchids and Butterflies.

In the evening one is free to stroll around M G Marg / Local Market - Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast in the early morning, start the day for the Tsomgo / Changu Lake and Baba Mandir excursion. Calm, serene water and picturesque beauty - Tsomgo Lake is one of the holy lakes of the region - a temple of lord shiva is built on the lakeside - primula flowers and other alpine plantations provide an immaculate beauty to this place - till April is full of snow and lay frozen,

Note - Nathula permit not included in the package as it’s an optional sightseeing. It can be done on a direct payment basis.
After breakfast in the morning, start the day with a full day of local sightseeing.

Visit Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi Viewpoint, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday Closed), flower show, Do Drul chorten monastery,  Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway, Bhaktam waterfalls.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. In the evening, one is free to stroll around MG Road or the local market. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and head towards the IXB / NJP as per the schedule. Your arrival at railway station or airport will mark the end of the tour with a memorable memories.

  • 50% of the amount paid will be charged as a cancellation fee if the booking is canceled 15-19 days before the arrival date.

I liked the stay and travel in Gangtok and Pelling...will recommend for beautiful stays and well planned itineraries! I didn't like the stay in Darjeeling...Darjeeling is not for tourists anymore as (Read More)it is very dirty and congested with traffic jams galore...not worth spending money on!
