Nathu La Pass: Nathula, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, is a mountain pass in the Himalayan peaks that co-joins Sikkim and China. It is located around 60km from Gangtok and most Gangtok tour packages include Nathu La as a day trip. There are a number of waterfalls that gush along the way from Gangtok to Nathu La. Banjhakri Falls: The Banjhakri Falls is situated at a distance of 10-12 kilometres from Gangtok on the way to Ranka monastery.
