Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Train from Delhi to Pathankot
  • Arrive in Delhi and  be transferred to Pathankot by train at 9:00 PM.
  • Overnight journey in train.
  • You will reach Pathankot at 6:05 AM the next morning. 
  • After freshening up and breakfast, head to Chamba
  • Check-in at the hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. 
  • In the evening, Laxmi Narayan Temple of Chamba, known for its Himalayan Heritage Architecture.
  • Overnight stay in Chamba. 
  • After breakfast, start from Chamba to Husdar via Bharmour. Hussar is the starting point of the trek. 
  • Upon your arrival at Hussar, trek to Dancho campsite(3 hours).
  • Overnight stay in the tent.
  • Enjoy delicious breakfast and then head out to the sacred ManiMahesh Lake. 
  • You will also visit a number of ancient temples and Wildlife sanctuaries. 
  • The sanctuaries are home to black and brown bears, snow leopards, and rare pheasants. 
  • Stay in a campsite close to the holy lake. 
  • Today after breakfast, spend the day at the lake exploring the scenic surrounding and indulging in camp games.
  • You can hike or trek to nearby places. 
  • Overnight at the camp
  • After breakfast, spend some time exploring the peak.
  • Then,Trek back to Dancho. 
  • Overnight stay at the camp in Dancho.
  • You will have your morning breakfast at the campsite in Dancho and then trek down to Hudsar. 
  • After reaching Hudsar, you will start your drive to Chamba. 
  • You will be staying overnight at a hotel in Chamba with dinner included.
  • After breakfast at Chamba, drive to Pathankot to catch a train to Delhi,

Rana ji, Aap ki kripa se hamara tour A one badhia,bina kisi takleef ke hotel rooms, taxi ladka rohit sab acha raha. Aap ka fir se dhanyawad.

Services rendered by taxi driver Mr Vipin were excellent. Hotel services at Dalhousie were excellent but hotel Annapurna at Dharamshala was not upto the mark purhaps it was not three star hotel. Break (Read More)fast ,Dinner was arranged at adjoining hotel at 3rd floor no lift was provided and for senior citizens like was difficult to climb stairs for two times in a day.Dicount provided was compensated by providing inferior hotel. Overall it was good experience . We can consider for future provided such type of deficiencies are solved for senior citizens like us.
