Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Srinagar - Visit Dal Lakw

Arrive at Srinagar Airport and meet our trek representative.
Transfer to the hotel in Srinagar and rest for acclimatization.
Enjoy the picturesque views of Dal Lake and explore the local markets.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2 Transfer to Sonamarg - Trek to Nichnai

After breakfast, drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg (2-3 hours).
Start the trek from Sonamarg to Nichnai, passing through meadows and streams.
Enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Kashmir Valley.
Set up camps in Nichnai and relax amidst nature.
Overnight stay in tents at Nichnai.

Day 3 Trek to Vishansar Lake - Overnight at Camp

After breakfast, start the trek towards Vishansar Lake.
Trek through beautiful meadows and pine forests.
Witness the serene Vishansar Lake with its crystal-clear waters.
Set up camps near the lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Overnight stay in tents near Vishansar Lake.

Day 4 Explore Vishansar and Kishansar Lakes - Overnight at Camp

Spend the day exploring Vishansar and Kishansar Lakes.
Enjoy the stunning views of snow-capped mountains and glaciers.
Optionally, trek to Kishansar Lake and back to Vishansar Lake.
Return to the campsite and relax by the lakeside.
Overnight stay in tents near Vishansar Lake.

Day 5 Trek to Gadsar Pass - Overnight Stay in Tents in Satsar

After breakfast, trek towards Gadsar Pass (13,800 ft).
Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks from the pass.
Descend to the beautiful Satsar Lakes, a series of seven interconnected lakes.
Set up camps near the Satsar Lakes and spend the evening in tranquility.
Overnight stay in tents at Satsar.

Day 6 Trek to Gangbal and Nundkol Lake

After breakfast, trek towards Gangbal.
Visit Gangbal Lake, a pristine high-altitude lake surrounded by lush meadows.
Continue trekking to Nundkol Lake and enjoy the stunning views.
Set up camps near Nundkol Lake and experience the beauty of the wilderness.
Overnight stay in tents at Nundkol Lake.

Day 7 Trek to Naranag - Departure for Srinagar

After breakfast, trek back to Naranag.
Drive from Naranag to Srinagar (2-3 hours).
Arrive in Srinagar and check-in to the hotel.
Rest and explore Srinagar city in the evening.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 8 Depart from Srinagar

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel in Srinagar.
Depending on your departure time, you can do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing.
Our representative will transfer you to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey with cherished memories of your Kashmir Great Lakes Trek.

Like the planning, the team was very accommodating regarding any last-minute requests. The driver was very skilled, knew the city well, and was able to guide us throughout the trip. The management and (Read More) other staff were very friendly and welcomed us, especially the hotel staff in Srinagar. The team is warm and cheerful. It's on the expensive side, but again this depends on the accommodation one chooses and what time of the year you are booking your trip.
