Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar and Local Sightseeing

Arrival at Srinagar Airport.
Transfer to hotel and prepare for the city tour.
Visit the Shankracharya Temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar.
These gardens were Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots.
Also visit the handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-shawls, jackets, bed covers, paper mache, carpets & much more.
In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake and explore the local markets.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Srinagar to Sonamarg and Back

Leave for Sonamarg in the morning.
Also known as the 'meadow of gold’ , Sonamarg is last stop of Kashmir district.
From here starts the territory of Ladakh.
Situated at an altitude of 2743 mt above sea level, the fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and masher fishing in summer.
You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment).
Return to Srinagar in the evening.
Overnight stay in the hotel in Sringar.

Day 3 Srinagar to Pahalgham and Back

Early in the morning leave for Pahalgam.
Also known as the 'valley of shepherds', Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag Lake.
En route, visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman.
Arrival at Pahalgam.
Enjoy the natural beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam.
Baisaran is a small village set in pine and fir forest.
In the evening, return to the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 4 Srinagar to Gulmarg and Back

In the morning, have breakfast and drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers.
The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating.
Gulmarg is famous all over the world for Skiing and Snowboarding. You can try out these sports (at your own cost).
Return back to Srinagar in the evening.
Enjoy comfortable night stay at Houseboat.

Day 5 Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight.

What's Good: First things first Mr Pardeep(driver) have good knowledge of history and patient with us throughout trip, he is covering as many places as we want without any hesitation. What's Good: The response time and patience from Abhijit and his team are highly commendable. He never fail to assure me of the arrangement and decisive in his proposed itinerary. More importa (Read More)ntly, he kept to his promises. Understanding my concerns about hotel cleanliness and safety, he has selected the hotels which are truly value for money.
