In the evening, buy essentials for the tour. Overnight stay at the hotel. (Dinner/Breakfast)

Morning pick-up by jeep and transfer to Jispa via Atal Tunnel, Sissu Village, and Tandi (confluence of the Chandra and Bhaga rivers). Arrive at noon and check into a camp near the river. Explore Jispa and enjoy the scenic beauty. Overnight stay. (Dinner/Breakfast)

Depart early for Leh, passing through some of the most scenic and adventurous roads in India and Asia. Visit Suraj Taal, Deepak Taal, Baralacha Pass (4,800 meters), Lachungla, and Tanglang La Pass (5,300 meters). Stop for lunch at Pang, where Changpa nomads operate small tea and snack stalls before reaching Murrey Plains (60 km of open plains). Enter Ladakh and its small villages. Check in to the hotel upon arrival. Rest and overnight stay. (Dinner/Breakfast)

After a relaxed morning, visit Sangam Point (confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, forming the Sindhu River), Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, and Shanti Stupa. In the evening, explore the Leh Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel. (Dinner/Breakfast)

After breakfast, begin your journey to Nubra Valley. Cross Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Stop for tea and snacks along the way. Upon arrival at Hunder Camp, visit the sand dunes, enjoy quad biking, and experience a ride on the famous double-humped Bactrian camels. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley. (Dinner/Breakfast)

Visit Diskit Monastery, one of the oldest and largest Buddhist monasteries in Ladakh. Capture stunning views of the 33-meter-tall Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the Shyok River. Spend some peaceful time in the serene surroundings. Later, return to Leh and enjoy leisure time at local cafes and markets. Overnight stay. (Dinner/Breakfast)

Depart for the iconic Pangong Lake, passing through Chang La Pass. Visit the famous shooting location of the movie "3 Idiots" and witness the breathtaking landscape near the Indo-China border. Pangong Lake is India’s largest saltwater lake, extending 130 km, with 25% in India, 60% in China, and 15% under dispute. Enjoy the mesmerizing view and stay overnight at a lakeside camp. (Dinner/Breakfast)

Drive back to Leh via the same route, passing through small Changpa nomadic villages. Interact with locals and learn about their unique lifestyle. Visit Shey Palace en route. Overnight stay in Leh. (Dinner/Breakfast)

Begin the return journey towards Himachal Pradesh, leaving Ladakh behind. Travel through rugged mountain roads and stay overnight at a camp on the Ladakh-Himachal border in Sarchu. (Dinner/Breakfast)

Continue the drive back to Manali, passing through high-altitude passes and scenic valleys. Arrive in Manali by evening and check into the hotel for an overnight stay. (Dinner/Breakfast)

Gunasekaran's Trip to Jaipur

4 /5

(Written on 24 Mar, 2025)

What's Good: Sanjay and Jitendar are very accommodate to change in schedule eventhough we have added couple of changes on the road. The helped in arranging guide, who is very helpful and very i (Read More)nformative in explaining, navigating various tourist attractions in Jaipur, especially,The Amber fort, The City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Nahagarh fort. The driver is always show up on time at hotel, where we stayed. Helpful in parking and stopping busy traffic to get down and up. In general, we had pleasant time at Jaiput for the past few days. Thanks to Sanjay!
What's Not Good: First thing that came to mind, they should have offered water in the van whenever we're back from the tourist attractions. With so hot and felling thirsty then we ran out of water. It is really horrible experience. We need to stop on the way to get water to refill. Suggest to have a cooler and provide cool water upon returning. This is we found little odd. Even in Varanasi the tourist operator always ask to drink water and it is always available. This is something they need to consider as an offer to customer for the price we are paying. The selection of on-road restaurants and shopping should be more informative that suits to the customer need. Expect to provide suggestion on good shopping at Jaipur based on customer preference. We need to research and ask them to take that place, like, famous bazaar, mall for food/arts/ethinic clothing. Hope the feedback are based what we observed and if the above were met then our experience would've been exceptional.
