Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Srinagar - Shikara Ride

On arrival at Srinagar, check in to the houseboat or hotel.
In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake.
Visit the Floating Market during the Shikara ride.
Dinner in the houseboat.
Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 2 Transfer to Kargil - En Route Visit Zojila Pass

After bed tea, proceed to Kargil.
En route, have breakfast at Sonmarg.
After breakfast, continue the drive to Kargil via Drass.
En-route visit Zojila pass.
Also, visit the 1999 Kargil War Memorial.
On arrival at Kargil, check in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kargil.

Day 3 Transfer to Leh - Visit Magnetic Hill

After breakfast, proceed to Leh.
En route, visit Mulbek, Lamayuru, Moon Landscape, and Magnetic Hill.
Also, visit Sangam, the confluence of Zanskar and Indus.
On arrival at Leh, check-in at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

Day 4 Explore Leh - Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery and Shanti Stupa

After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Leh.
Visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Sindhu Darshan, and Shanti Stupa before dusk.
Return to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

Day 5 Transfer to Pangong Lake - Lakeside Camp

After breakfast, proceed to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass.
On arrival at Pangong Lake, check in to the lakeside camp.
Dinner and overnight stay at a lakeside camp in Pangong Lake.

Day 6 Transfer to Leh - En-route Visit Hemis Monastery

After breakfast, proceed back to Leh.
En-route visit Hemis Monastery.
On arrival at Leh, check in to the hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

Day 7 Transfer to Nubra Valley - En Route Visit Khardung La Pass

After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley.
En route visit Khardung La Pass.
Proceed to Diskit Gompa (monastery) and the sand dunes of Hundar in Nubra Valley.
Ride the unique double-humped Bactrian camels.
Drive back to Diskit.
On arrival at Diskit, check in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Nubra Valley.

Day 8 Transfer to Leh - Leh Palace & Fort

After breakfast, proceed back to Leh.
On arrival at Leh, visit Leh Palace and Fort.
Later, transfer to the hotel and check in.
Dinner and overnight at Leh.

Day 9 Explore Leh - Local Markets and Shopping

After breakfast, visit Leh market to shop for souvenirs.
Later you can proceed for a walking tour of Leh city.
Return to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

Day 10 Transfer to Tso Moriri - En Route Visit Hot Springs at Chumathang

After breakfast, proceed to Tso Moriri.
En-route visit hot springs at Chumathang.
Also, visit various war memorials on the way from the time of the Sino-Indian (Indo-China) war.
Visit Thatsang Karu.
Continue the drive to Tso Moriri.
On arrival at Tso Moriri, check in to the lakeside camp.
Have evening tea at Korzok village lakeside.
Dinner and overnight stay at a lakeside camp in Tso Moriri.

Day 11 Trip to to Tso Kar - Transfer to Leh

After breakfast, proceed to Tso Kar and see the rare Black-Necked Crane.
Later, proceed back to Leh via Tanglang La.
On arrival at Leh, check in at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

Day 12 Transfer to Manali - Leisure Day

After breakfast, proceed to Manali.
Drive through the Lahaul valley onwards to Rohtang La.
On arrival at Manali, check in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Manali.

Day 13 Day at Leisure

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure.

Day 14 Depart for Chandigarh

What's Good: It will remain one of the best experiences ever. Mr Kapil of Krish Travel was very much helpful in every way and i could feel his concerns about his clients when we planned the itn (Read More)erary and package price. Hotels provided were also very professional. And our taxi driver during our stay of 5N 6D at Kasmir, Mr Tanveer was very friendly and cooperative as well as helpful. Overall experience was superb. What's Good: Our trip to Kashmir was truly memorable one. This time we were travelling with our 7 year old son so were a bit worried about safety and over all the entire arrangement. But honest (Read More)ly, we did not had to be bother about anything. The trip was so well planned by Mr Pervaiz and his team. We stayed in some of the best hotels and houseboat in srinagar, pahalgam and gulmarg. All 3 places r equally charming, and we could complete all the sight seeing within time because of the well planned trip. Mr Pervaiz was careful about our safety through out the trip. He had been in touch with us personally everyday, enquiring about our whereabouts. We were carefree and enjoyed to the fullest. We were blessed enough to have one of the most experienced guide cum driver. Mr Mumin was a native of srinagar and was very knowledgeable about all the places. He helped us a lot and gave the best possible advice with regards to local food, activities and its rates, shopping places etc. He was quite playful with our child and kept him entertained throughout which is most difficult when travelling with a child. Overall, I would highly recommend Explorus travels to anyone who wants to travel to Kashmir and enjoy the serenity without worrying much about the arrangement. You will get the most organised, well curated itinerary here for the best price. I would like to specially mention the open minded approach of Mr Pervaiz towards all the last minute changes I requested him due to changes in our schedule and he did it all on just one phone call. Most travel agencies do not entertain this. He had been very humble, honest and ground to earth with us till the end of our trip.
What's Not Good: There was hardly anything that I could complain about. Had great time in kashmir.
