Day 1 Arrival Day - Transfer to Chitkul

Arrive in Shimla, freshen up, and have breakfast in Narkanda.
Continue the journey to Chitkul, India’s last village before the China border, enjoying views of the Kinnaur Valley.
Check into accommodation in Chitkul, where you’ll enjoy dinner and rest.

Day 2 Chitkul to Kalpa

Start your day with a mesmerizing sunrise in Chitkul.
Discover the charm of this remote village and depart for Kalpa around noon.
Check into your hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay

Day 3 Kalpa to Kaza (via Nako, Tabo, and the Ka Loops)

Begin the journey to Kaza after breakfast.
Admire the peaceful ambiance and explore the surroundings.
Visit the ancient Tabo Monastery.
Experience the thrilling Ka Loops, a series of hairpin bends leading to Kaza.

Return to Kaza for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 Journey to Chandratal Lake

After breakfast, leave for Chandratal Lake, with a brief stop in Losar, the last village in Spiti Valley.
Reach the lake by evening, where you’ll camp under the stars.
Dinner and stargazing near the lake, with a chance to see the Milky Way.

Day 6 Chandratal to Manali

After breakfast, depart for Manali, passing through Chattru and Rohtang Pass on a scenic mountain route.
Check into the hotel upon arrival in Manali.
Explore local cafés and unwind in Old Manali.

Day 7 Explore Manali and Departure to Delhi

What's Good: The Manager Jitender did his best to accomodate my wishes. I only have one grievance to make he did loose his cool on the journey when the Ticket Inspector demanded he pay the diff (Read More)erence of fare as I was able to get on the Himalayan Toy Train from Kalka to Shimla due to 5 cancellations hence I did not give him a 5Star Rating. All in all, he was always polite and seemed to be knowledgeable in all aspects of Tourism.
What's Not Good: Jitender wasn't always available to follow through with Pick Ups and Drop Offs as he had to depend on Drivers and I had to keep reminding him. Again, it was not his fault as communication is the key answer to a smooth transition in Travel.

What's Good: The trip was well-organized, and everything went smoothly. The hotels provided were very good, clean, and comfortable. Our driver, who was also our guide, was friendly, knowl (Read More)edgeable, and helpful throughout the trip.
What's Not Good: The food options in both breakfast and dinner were limited. We were expecting more variety. The taste of the food was not up to our expectations, especially for someone from Mumbai who prefers spicier flavors. It felt a bit bland.
