Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at the Kochi airport and be transferred to Munnar.
  • On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary, and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Thekkady.
  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey.
  • Around 1200 hrs check in at the houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater.

What's Good: I used services of TIckets To Trip (TTT) for my recent trip to Jodhpur, Jaisalmer & Bikaner. The tour was beautifully planned & executed nicely. Accomodations booked at all the pla (Read More)ces were good except at Jaisalmer which was okay but not up to my expectations. The vehicle provided was new and the driver provided by the vendor was very polite and experienced driver. Ms. Kajal was instrumental in convincing us to hire services of TTT. I wish TIckets To Trip would extend the quality services to all the clients. I wish them great sucess in serving the tourists.

What's Good: The response time and patience from Abhijit and his team are highly commendable. He never fail to assure me of the arrangement and decisive in his proposed itinerary. More importa (Read More)ntly, he kept to his promises. Understanding my concerns about hotel cleanliness and safety, he has selected the hotels which are truly value for money. I was recommended 3 tour agencies , World Travel Experience is the best.
What's Not Good: Nil
