Day 1 COLOMBO ARRIVAL - MT. LAVINIA
  • Arrival at Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport.
  • Transfer to your hotel in the Mount Lavinia area, a beach resort vacation spot near bustling Colombo city.
  • Rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight at your hotel in Lavinia.
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer to Mount Lavinia railway station to catch a train to Jaffna.
  • On arrival at Jaffna station, transfer to your hotel.
  • Later in the evening, visit Casuarina Beach and Fort Hammenhiel, that the Dutch built in the 16th century.
  • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Jaffna offers many sightseeing options on the island's northernmost peninsula.
  • Visit Jaffna Fort - the second largest in Sri Lanka, built by the Dutch in 1619.

  • Return to your hotel for your second night's stay in Jaffna.

  • Afternoon sightseeing tour to visit historical and archaeological sites, including the sacred bo-tree (amongst the oldest documented trees in the world), the 1600 columns of Brazen Palace, and Ruwanwelisaya - the most famous dagobas (Buddhist stupa) in Sri Lanka.
  • After the tour, head to Trincomalee, located on the East Coast of Sri Lanka.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight at your hotel in Trincomalee.
  • Day free at leisure or explore Trincomalee.
  • Take an optional tour to the Koneswaram - a sacred Hindu temple, the Portuguese-built Fort Frederick, and the seven hot springs at Kanniya.

  • After breakfast, transfer to Nuwara Eliya.
  • As you approach Nuwara Eliya, you pass through mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations.
  • On arrival, tour a tea plantation and a tea factory.

  • After breakfast, excursion to Horton Plains - Sri Lanka's highest plateau, 7200 feet (2200 metres) above sea level in the central mountain country.
  • Trek to Worlds End, where the plateau plunges a thousand feet.

  • Later return to your hotel and stay overnight at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

What's Not Good: Can improve the vehicle. AC was not working. While returning, it was very hot.

What's Good: We recently went on a family trip to Shimla, Kullu, Manali, Kasol, and Chandigarh with *Quality Vacation* , and it was an amazing experience! We were a family of 3 adults and a (Read More)child, and everything from planning to execution was perfectly handled by miss Swara. The trip was was well-organized, we also had customized itinerary that matched our preferences.Swara was very polite and understood our need s and priorities and she planned everything for,infact added few places which we dint think we could cover ... package and services offered were very reasonable — *definitely good value for money and time Our stays were comfortable and pleasant at each location, with clean rooms and friendly staff . We were offered best views from the room too .... A special mention to our driver Abhishek, who was polite, helpful, and ensured a safe and enjoyable journey throughout the trip. We are very delighted with our trip and would happily recommend Quality Vacation to others looking for a well-managed and affordable Himachal tour!

What's Good: Professional services
What's Not Good: Hotels in manali could have been better. Also, hotels should provide both North Indian and South Indian cuisine. Hotel in Manali (Read More)didn't even have a First Aid kit which is thought off as a must in hotels.

What's Good: Support and availability of staff. Special thanks goes to "Bharti Thakur" Immediate resolution of issues came up during the trip. Crystal clear communication as well as terms and (Read More) conditions. No change in itinerary and surprises affecting my trip plan.
What's Not Good: Lack of communication regarding places to visit from cab driver. Sedan vehicle given to me was bit old. Better if you provide new vehicle for such a long and hilly area trip. Even though, I was checking in late at Amritsar hotel, my room was not cleaned. Very limited options for Breakfast. Everywhere same items for breakfast.
