The Chief Minister also announced that work needs to take place in several parts of the state as well as near Gairsain to make it functional as the state capital. They will be focusing primarily on Bharairisain, which is about 14 KM from Gairsain, and it faces an acute water shortage. Also, the assembly building is situated at Baharairisain.
