Precautions and Measures
"We have decided to allow domestic travelers to enter Goa from July 2 onwards provided they comply with certain norms," said the tourism minister.
Here's what you need to know before heading to Goa-
- Hotels (permitted by the tourism department only) have to be booked well in advance of a visit.
- One should get a Covid-19 negative certificate before heading to the state.
- Or else, tourists can get tested at the border and undergo quarantine in the state-run facilities until a report is handed over.
- Those who are tested positive at the border are offered a provision to either head home or reside in the state for treatment.
