Step 2: Submit Documents at Indian Embassy in Indonesia

Documents Required for Indian Visa for Indonesians
- Visa Application Form: Hard copy (printout) of the online registration visa application form.
- Passport: Minimum validity of six months. At least 2 blank pages.
- Photographs: 2 latest color, matte (not glossy), passport-size photographs (4x4 cm). Depicting a front view against a white background (please avoid wearing white clothes).
- Travel Itinerary: Confirmed return ticket or printout of the confirmed to and from journey (in & out of India).
- Bank Statement: Original and copy of the applicant’s bank account statement for the last 3 months (with name and balance mentioned).
- Accommodation Details: Confirmation of hotel booking at the place of intended visit in India. Alternatively, a letter of invitation/sponsorship from India with a copy of the sponsor’s passport or Identity card. If invited by a foreigner, a copy of their valid Indian visa should be attached.
- The Consular Officer may request additional documents from applicants if necessary.
- The Consular Officer or the Consulate has full discretion over the type and duration of the visa issued.
- The applicant's biometrics will be collected at the time of application submission.
- After submitting a visa application at the Consulate General of India in Bali, applicants may be required to attend a personal interview if necessary.
- Applicants must sign in the signature box located below the photograph box. If the applicant is a minor, both parents are required to sign.

Note: All fees must be paid in cash (Indonesian Rupiah only)- Up to 1 year/Single or Multiple Entry: IDR 1,600,000
- More than 1 year and up to 5 years/Multiple Entry: IDR 3,200,000
Indian Visa Processing Time & Validity
For Indonesian passport holders applications received are mostly processed on the same day.The Tourist Visa is issued for a period as per the itinerary of the planned visit, up to a maximum period of six months, whichever is less.
General Information
- The Consulate or Consular Officer is not obligated to provide reasons for visa application rejections.
- India does not offer Visa on Arrival (VoA) except for nationals of Japan, South Korea, and the UAE. Applicants should apply for a regular visa at the Consulate General of India in Bali or obtain an e-Visa before traveling to India.
- Visa types are divided into sub-categories, which will be processed by Consular Officials.
- Applications for minors: Both parents must be present when submitting a visa application for minors. Copies of parents' passports, along with the originals, and a sponsor letter must be attached to the application, along with other required documents as specified for each type of visa.
- Emergency visa issuance: If a visa application is submitted on weekends or holidays, an emergency fee is charged for same-day visa issuance. Emergency services are available on Saturdays and national holidays in cases of genuine emergencies such as the death or illness of a close relative, provided proof and a confirmed air ticket are presented. Applicants may inquire with the Concerned Officer about arrangements for such emergency services, and the decision of the Consular Officer in such matters is final.
