Bed Rooms
The homestay is a total of 3 levels with a well-lit a bedroom on each floor. With all east-facing rooms housed in this cottage, the entire cottage offers mesmerising views of Kumaon Valley.

Ground floor
Private bedroom with a double bed and an attached bathroom with all essential amenities.

First Floor
The first level has an open bedroom right below the painter's studio on the top floor. It also has an access to the painter's studio.

Second Floor 
This floor comes with a living room with an attached bathroom, a kitchen, a double-bedded painting studio and a balcony with a garden view.

Washrooms
There are two bathrooms, out of which one is attached to the ground floor private bedroom, and the other is common for the second and top level. Amenities like geysers, towels and basic toiletries are provided in both bathrooms.

Kitchen & Meals
There are two kitchens. One is the central kitchen, and the other is an open kitchen. The central kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave with crockery and cutlery, which can accommodate six people at a time. Guests can either cook their own meals or relish food the chef prepares. You can also order from nearby restaurants.

The Mukteshwar Temple is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva built on a hilltop. Constructed with a white marble Shiva Linga and a copper yoni idols of Brahma, Vishnu, Parvati, Hanuman, Ganesh and Nandi all found in the temple vicinity.

You can trek up to Sitla which is another hill station known for its beautiful colonial-style bungalows. This viewpoint provides impressive panoramic views of the valley.

By Train
To reach this beautiful cottage, the nearest railway station is Kathgodam which is 70 km away. There are many cabs and buses that leave for Mukteshwar after that.

By Air
There are two airports you can opt to reach the hill station. Dehradun Airport which is only 183 km from Mukteshwar and Delhi International Airport which is 353 km from Mukteshwar. You could either take a bus or a cab from the station directly to Mukteshwar. 

By Road
Mukteshwar is well connected to all the major cities and towns and is easily accessible. Iris Cottage is very close to Mukteshwar road heading to iBhatelia.
