Most hotels and resorts close on the east coast and re-opens in March. The main tourist places on the east coast are Kuantan, Perhentian Islands, Tioman Island, Terengganu, Redang, and Kota Bharu.

For the West Coast of Malaysia, November is the beginning of the peak tourist season with comparatively lesser rainfall. It is the ideal time to tour the Cameron Highlands, Langkawi, Penang, Pangkor, and Melaka.

Visit iconic landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers, Aquaria KLCC, and the National Museum to explore the city's history and culture while staying dry.   • Since this is a hot and humid country, do not step outside without sunscreen and hat.
