1. Souq Al Khreit 

You can visit the Souq Al Khreit, which loosely translates to the market of textiles in English, to buy typical Egyptian cotton clothes. Kalasiras, wraparound gowns, and close-fitting sheaths are some popular Egyptian clothing you can look out for while shopping in this street. 

Timings: There is no specific timings for the shops in the Souq Al Kherit. However, you can visit the souq between 10:00AM to 7:00PM to get the best experience!

2. Souq El Attarine

The Souq El Attarine is a popular market in Egypt for antique collections, traditional clothing, jewellery and fragrances! You can also shop for French-inspired furniture, unique crafts, and belly-dancing costumes. This is a maze of pedestrian streets, so make sure you don’t lose your way and also keep an eye out for pickpocketers!

3. Zan ah Al Sitat 

Popular as Alexandria’s busiest market, Zan ah Al Sitat is known as a women’s cramped alleyway! While in this place, you can buy women’s clothing, cosmetics and accessories. The City Centre Mall in Alexandria houses many brands and restaurants under its roof. There is a kid area where your little ones can enjoy their time while you shop for your needs and wants! Though you may not be able to bargain here, the prices are at par with those in Western Europe.
