1. North Cove, Battery Park
Located in the heart of the city at the southern tip of Manhattan, Battery Park offers a stunning view of the rising sun alongwith the harbour views, grand lawns and the Battery urban farm. Bike your way to this location to enjoy a magnificent scene of early morning sun behind the line of docked boats perched at the marina, with The Sea Glass Carousel one one side and the Staten Island Ferry’s Whitehall Terminal on the other. The park has its own dining at Garden Cafes. You might have to wait a few hours to enjoy the scrumptious menu of the cafe but rest assured that it’s worth the wait! It is open from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m., giving you an opportunity to catch that gorgeous sunset along with the sunrise!
2. Brooklyn Bridge Park
Whether you decide to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge or sit down in one of the adjacent parks, you are in for a picturesque view of New York’s skyline reflecting the early morning rays of the sun to form a perfect capture-worthy scene. Located on the west coast of Queens, Astoria Park is flanked by the Triborough Bridge in the south and the Hell Gate Bridge in the north.
