Thailand is visa free for Indian citizens. Indians can visit Thailand without applying for a visa until further notice. Indian tourists can stay in Thailand for a period of upto 60 days. The stay can further be extended to additional 30 days by consulting local immigration offices. 

Documents Required for Thailand Visa Free Entry for Indians

Even though Indians do not require a visa to enter into Thailand, it is still necessary to carry these documents:

  • Original passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the departure date
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking)
  • Proof of funds like bank statement, valid credit card, or cash reserves
  • Return or onward ticket from Thailand

Tips & Things to Know

You can enter Thailand through one of these international airports - Bangkok (BKK and DMK), Chiang Mai (CNX), Chiang Rai (CEI), Hat Yai (HDY), Krabi (KBV), Phuket (HKT), Samui Int'l (USM), Sukhothai Int'l (THS), Surat Thani (URT) and Utapao (UTP)
