An abode to the remains of the ancient city of Karatepe, Karatepe Aslantas is an open-air museum located in the province of Osmaniye in Southern Turkey. Nestled in the Karatepe Aslantas National Park, it contains the remains of the ancient city of Karatepe, an important centre of the Hittite Empire in the Iron Age.
It features numerous well-preserved ruins, including a citadel, a palace, several temples, and other structures. There are also exhibits and displays of the artefacts and relics from the ancient city. Additionally, you can also find information about the history and culture of the Hittites here.
