St. Peters Cathedral, Adelaide, Adelaide Overview

St Peters Cathedral is an Anglican Church and a major landmark in Adelaide, South Australia. It is part of Adelaide’s heritage and the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide. Apart from having a beautiful historic building, they are Christ–centered and have an inclusive community that values diversity. You can visit this Church for a Cathedral experience or even attend one of their services that promotes music and excellent liturgy.

It is situated on the corner of King William Street and was built over a period of 40 years and has features similar to Notre Dame. There are beautiful stained glass patterns and an ornate rose window at the main entrance that features stories from the Bible and South Australia. The preaching is inclusive and you can also visit the Lady Chapel which has many sculptures and stained glass windows. Their choir is famed and performs thrice a week and also sings for special music events and organ concerts.
