Heritage Park

Nestled in the heart of Agartala, Tripura, the Heritage Park stands as the largest park in the city, offering visitors a serene escape into the lap of cultural richness and natural beauty. Located approximately 3 kilometers from the city center, this sprawling twelve-acre park is a testament to the diverse heritage of Tripura.

The Heritage Park is meticulously divided into three distinct parts, each contributing to the overall charm of the site. The entrance welcomes visitors with an imposing gate that intricately depicts the rich tribal and non-tribal mixed cultural heritage of Tripura. The three parts include:

1. Mini-Tripura: Spanning about three acres of land at the entrance, this section features replicas of famous places in Tripura, offering a miniature glimpse into the state's historical and cultural landmarks.
2. Central Area: This region is designed as a natural forest, contributing to the park's green and lush environment. Indigenous trees, exquisite flora, and fauna create a captivating atmosphere for visitors to immerse themselves in nature.
3. Plain Table Land: Hosting medicinal plants, herbs, and shrubs, this area provides an educational aspect to the park. Visitors can explore the diverse plant life while enjoying a walking track that spans 1.1 kilometers along the park's periphery.
