Established on June 22, 1970, the Tripura Government Museum, also known as the Tripura State Museum, stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the state. In a significant move, it was relocated to the majestic Ujjayanta Palace on September 25, 2013, with the official inauguration conducted by Hamid Ansari, the former Vice President of India.
