Ahmedabad has various places to shop at reasonable prices. Lal Darwaza has various stalls selling all kinds of stuff, from ladies' wear, to gents' and children's wear, even shoes or old books or belt (Read More)s. Basically everything. Dhalgarwad is known for clothes such as chaniya cholis, sarees and other stuff at pretty reasonable prices as well. Or if you're looking for bed sheets or traditional local items then Sindhi Market is another hotspot.

You can either go by train or by road. The Saurashtra Mail will take you directly from Ahmedabad to Dwaraka without having to switch vehicles in the middle.

I feel like Surat is far better than Ahmedabad as Surat is located in sea coast but in case of Ahmedabad, it is located far from coast and so hot. Surat municipal corporation has many facilities than (Read More) Ahmedabad municipal corporation. Ahmedabad has more population that Surat, so living in Surat is better than Ahmedabad.

Clean and well maintained.Evenings are especially beautiful in winters with the sunlight just perfectly flirting with the carvings.One can leisurely sit here and admire the well.

My memory of the museum is weak, given that my visit was more than 10 years ago. However, the haveli and its gardens did make a lasting impression on my mind. The gardens, though small, were beautifu (Read More)lly green and full of birds like peacocks. It was a beautiful setting.
