Halabasappana gudi, Aihole Overview
One of the most striking and iconic landmarks in Aihole, Halabasappana Gudi was once a thriving temple but all that remains of it now are desolate ruins and yet it is still a popular tourist attraction. Inscribed at the door that opens to the temple hall is a carving of Yamuna and Ganga, amongst many other etchings made into the stone walls of the temple itself.
