The Almaty Television Tower, standing 371.5 meters tall, is a major landmark located on the slopes of Kok Tobe Mountain, just southeast of downtown Almaty. It is the tallest free-standing tubular steel structure in the world. The tower, along with the surrounding Kok Tobe Amusement Park, offers panoramic views of the city and the stunning Trans-Ili Alatau mountains.
The six-minute cable car ride to the tower offers panoramic views of the city as you climb to the top of the mountain.
