Located near Sariska National Park, 30 kms away from the main city, Bhartrihari Temple is a venerated Hindu temple in Alwar. Believed to have been named after Bhartrihari Baba- the then ruler of Ujjain, the shrine is built in the traditional Rajasthani style with spacious corridors, exquisite arches, and floral columns of mandaps. Legend suggests that Bhatrihari Baba was blessed with magical prowess and hence any wish wished at the temple come true.
Set amidst the scenic Aravalli hills, the temple offers a calming and poised break to your otherwise regular trip. The shrine is throng by hundreds of devotees every year to seek the blessings of the Baba.
