Duomo di Salerno is one of the most important religious and historical sites in southern Italy. Located in Salerno, it was built in 1084 by Robert Guiscard, a Norman ruler. The cathedral is famous for housing the relics of St. Matthew, one of the Twelve Apostles, making it a significant pilgrimage site. The Romanesque-style cathedral features a grand bell tower, a beautifully decorated crypt, and an ornate bronze door from Constantinople.
