Located in the Ulus neighborhood on Cumhuriyet Boulevard, the Republic Museum is situated southwest of the War of Independence Museum, which served as the Turkish Parliament from 1920 to 1924. It building itself was the Turkish Parliament building from 1924 until 1960. It is renowned for its extensive collection of historical artifacts from the Turkish War of Independence and the early Republican period. Same ticket can be used for visiting both first and second parliament.
Tourists can explore photographs, documents, and furniture that chronicle this transformative era in Turkish history. The museum also displays portraits of all former Turkish presidents and prime ministers, alongside a comprehensive collection of banknotes and coins issued during the Republican age.
