Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp is a magnificent Gothic cathedral located in the city's historic center. Construction began in 1352 and concluded in 1521, resulting in the largest Gothic church in Belgium. The cathedral is renowned for its impressive architecture and houses significant artworks, including masterpieces by Peter Paul Rubens.
The cathedral's single completed spire rises to 123 meters, making it the tallest church tower in the Benelux region. The interior features seven aisles, supported by 125 pillars, and is illuminated by 128 windows, 55 of which are stained glass. This design creates a spacious and luminous atmosphere, characteristic of Brabant Gothic architecture.
