Auschwitz-Birkenau, located in Oświęcim, Poland, is a preserved site of the largest Nazi concentration and extermination camp during World War II. Divided into Auschwitz I and the larger Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the site includes barracks, watchtowers, and remains of gas chambers and crematoria. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it serves as a memorial and museum, offering guided tours and exhibits that educate visitors about the Holocaust and honor its victims.
This camp which was established by the Nazis has become the global symbol of human genocide. Visting this place you would find the things belonging to the soldiers as well as photos depicting how they used to survive in these camps.
