Legend of Mani Parbat

Listed among the most revered places in significance to Lord Ram, Mani Parbat is said to have fallen into Ayodhya when Lord Hanuman pulled out a mountain while searching for the ‘Sanjeevani Booti’.

The Sanjeevani Booti is believed to have been used to treat Lakshman's fatal wound due to the war. Hindu myth has it that this hillock was the very place from which Lord Rama gave his grand speech of Dharma.
