Heydar Mosque, Baku Overview

The mosque is only open for prayers on Fridays but you can visit the surrounding campus and appreciate the architectural beauty any day of the week.

Covering a vast area of 12,000 square meters, this mosque is one of the largest religious structures in the South Caucasus. It has two levels, four towering minarets, and two domes framing the building. Its interior features exquisite marble and woodwork, creating a serene and captivating atmosphere. Verses from the Quran adorn the mosque, adding a spiritual depth to its artistic magnificence.
