Wildlife

Tourists on arrival are warmly greeted by the friendly staffs. On entering the world of fauna, the songs of Siamangs (a rare gibbon) along with the melodies of various kinds of birds, such as cassowaries, cockatoos, peacocks, the Bali Starlings and various other Asian exotic birds bring music to ones ears. The entrance reception is playfully encompassed by the lion’s family, a lazy gigantic crocodile, and Komodo Dragon- the biggest lizard in the world.

One can walk through the pathway to discover unbelievable sightings of rarest faunas of the world like White Tigers, Sumatran Tigers, Sumatran Elephants, kangaroos, orangutans, sun bear, binturong, and deers. Elephant Expedition and Mud Fun

Tips

Physically disabled people and pregnant women are not permitted to take part in the adventurous activities.
Entry for children aged 0-2 years to enter the zoo are free.
Wear comfortable clothes and footwear to avoid uneasiness from strolling around the zoo.
Avoid visiting the zoo on a rainy day, since the wildlife park gets murky.
Carry some mosquito repellants, sunscreen lotions for an easy, carefree experience.
If planning to go for the Elephant Mud Fun Activity, do not forget to carry a bathing suit, spare shoes and clothes.
If travelling via personal conveyance, try to reach early for seizing a spot in the on-site vehicle park zone, since the parking zone tends to work on first-come-first-served basis.

How To Reach Bali Zoo

Positioned in the folk center of Bali, this wildlife reserve is only fifteen minutes of drive from the quaint town of Ubud and about 45 minutes to one hour drive from tourist centers of Legian, Seminyak and Kuta. Various Public Bus shuttles, Pre- rental Cabs and self-drive Cars are available from city centers to Bali Zoo. It is advisable to book the tickets and rentals of the transport in advance to avoid any muddles.
