Lovina is a lovely coastal town in north Bali, popular for it's lovely resorts, restaurants, pubs and the namesake black-sand beach. The beach features a tall dolphin statue, a nod to the dolphin schools that swim in this beach. Visitors often come here to witness the dolphin schools and to go snorkelling.
Lovina Beach comprises of a few smaller beaches and is a great alternative to the often overcrowded and heady beaches of Kuta and Seminyak. It is famous for its gorgeous sunrises and its colourful motorboats, known as jukungs, that take you out to see the dolphins that frequent the bay.
