Located in Singaraja in Buleleng, the old Dutch warehouses are one of the many remnants of the colonial past that gives the city it's antique 'feel'. The former administrative centre of the Dutch, Singaraja still retains much of its colonial architecture and the decrepit warehouses remind one of the tobacco, spices and vanilla that used to be stored in them.
Singaraja served as the main administrative centre for the Dutch during the colonial era and this is evident from the numerous Dutch warehouses that still reside in Singaraja. Many of the warehouses have been refurbished and look the way that they used to during their prime.
