Shri Gavi Gangadhareshwara Swamy Temple

Shri Gavi Gangadhareshwara Swamy Temple, located in the Gavipuram area of Bangalore, is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Believed to have been constructed during the 9th century by the Ganga dynasty and later renovated by Kempegowda, the founder of Bangalore, the temple is a remarkable example of Indian rock-cut architecture.
