Sadengan Savannah, Banyuwangi Overview
Situated in the East of Java, Sadengan Savannah is about a 2-hour drive from the central part of Banyuwangi Town. This is the feeding ground for the wild animals of the Alas Purwo National Park; thus, wildlife can be witnessed like Bos Javanicus, many species of peacocks, Wild bulls, Jungle fowl, and many other birds. Therefore, it’s best to visit early in the morning, between 6-9 AM, or in the evening, around 3-5 PM. Both cars or motorcycles can be taken inside but make sure to carry snacks along as there are no restaurants inside the 80- hectares of Savannah.
