DIY Playground

The DIY ( DO-IT-YOURSELF) playground in Batu Pahat is a small park that is completely made by recyclable materials and has truly made the phrase ‘ waste to wealth’ stand out whilst being a burst of science and creativity . The playground was built by an old man who was featured in multiple media platforms for turning throwaway items and junk into an enjoyable experience.

This park attracts people of all ages and is a hidden gem that you must see for yourself as it is not far from the town centre. Structures like the flying fox, go carts , pirate ships and swings and slides are some of the major attractions for the children. Adults can too stay engaged or spend a lazy day here.

A weekend art market / festival  in the months of June – August, is hosted here to honour the old man who’s idea gave birth to something that inspires everyone to not waste products that are at our behest and instead turn them into something user friendly.
