Pantai Minyak Beku also known as the ‘frozen oil village’ is a beach situated in the Batu Pahat region of Johor, Malaysia. The beach offers a serene and peaceful ambience. It hosts some authentic Malaysian food outlets that you should definitely check out if you are travelling in the area. It is a beautiful picnic spot where you can enjoy a leisure day with friends and family.
There is a temple at a walking distance from the beach located in a cave. However , the locals don’t recommend that you swim in the beach. The beach is also used for fishing and you might even see some fishermen bringing back fresh seafood !
It is about half an hour from the main Batu Pahat area. Using local transport is preferred over getting your own vehicle as the roads are quite narrow.
