Kappil beach is a dazzling beach located about 15 kilometres from Kasaragod, in God's own country, the South Indian State of Kerala. 1. The current could get rough, so it is better to avoid swimming in the sea.
2. This is not a sunbathing beach so avoid wearing swimming costumes. The local fishermen can be spotted roaming the beach which would make wearing a swimming costume uncomfortable and also disrespectful to their culture.

How To Reach Kappil Beach

Kappil Beach is accessible by road from Kasaragod which is just about 15 kilometres from the beach. One can hail a taxi from Kasargod to reach the beach area. Finding autorickshaws or other local transportation to go back to Kasaragod late in the evening might prove to be difficult. Booking a cab for the entire day is a better idea.
