Parnasala, Bhadrachalam Overview

Parnasala is a significant and wonderful sightseeing destination of Bhadrachalam. Paranasala is a popular village located in the Khammam district of Telangana, India. It is situated from the 32km away from Bhadrachalam. It has an elevation of about 55 meters.

The place is also known as Shoka Rama as it depicts the sorrow mood of the Rama in his life.

it was built in the 17th century by a devotee called as Kancherla Gopanna also known as Bhakta Ramadasu. It was believed that the Lord Rama visited this place and returned all the money spent by the Gopanna. Ushnagundam (hot pol) is also known as Gundala, is situated about a short distance from the temple.
