Baddesley Clinton, Birmingham Overview

Baddesley Clinton, located in the rising lane of Baddesley Clinton Village, Warwickshire, is a moated manor, a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy city and whose beauty will fascinate you. It's the perfect epitome of the Elizabethan age surrounded by a beautiful garden and lake.

The present remains of the house is the work of Henry Ferrers who carved the delightful interiors of the house in Elizabethan style. The Baddesley Clinton also hosts some seasonal events like Halloween and book fairs. The site has been declared as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and listed in the Grade 1 buildings list. The manor is presently owned by the National Trust and open for public visit which was built in the 15th century.
 
One fact about this site to get amazed is the inclusion of the house in the Sherlock Holmes series which was aired on Granada TV. Apart from this some other shows were also shot in this house which proves the popularity of this place.
