The Sheldon Country Park with a stretch of about 300 acres is Birmingham's one of the largest urban parks. One can enjoy scenic views enjoying the grassland, serene lake, wetlands, hedgerows and mature woodlands. The farm has several animals like Jersey cattle, pigs, goats, geese and ponies.
The park also has a 17th century diary farm, the Old Rectory Farm, which provides educational tours and insights about traditional methods of farming. The park sits along the Birmingham Airport, having a viewpoint for aircrafts enthusiasts. The park even has a separate area for the children indulging them in various fun activities and games. There is a cozy cafe at the farm that serves food and drinks. You can relax and enjoy the stunning visuals with a cup of English tea and snacks. The park also has Khalsa (Sikh community) Woodland Memorial and Memorial Planting by the Council of Sikh Gurdwaras (places of worship) paying tribute to Khalsa warriors.
