Prendiparte Tower is famous because it is one of the 20 towers that have survived out of 100 and is second highest in the city after Asinelli Tower. Climbing the internal staircase culminates your tour with a panoramic view of Bologna with red roofs, medieval buildings, towers and green cliffs .
Restaurants, bars and main points of interest are all within walking distance, with the two towers and Piazza Maggiore at a 5 minutes walk.The tower has 11 floors and is surmounted by a rooftop terrace. The first 3 levels consist of the living room, the bedroom loft and bathroom and the kitchen/ dining room. The bathroom is carved out of a rock in the wall. It was built as a defense post for the powerful Prendiparte family. It is also known as the ' Crowned Tower ', Nowadays, the tower hosts B&B, a bed and Breakfast. The B&B has just one multi level suit and is a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. Breakfast in very generous, with a vast selection of typical local pastries, bread, jams and much more
Facilities : Parking, Internet, not wheelchair accessible, pets not allowed,family friendly but should be best avoided with small children as the stairs are very steep.
