Located at Monumental Axis, Torre de TV or TV Tower is an excellent place to get an overview of the city.
If you are wondering why Brasilia is said to be shaped like an aeroplane or a bird in flight, you can see for yourself from this 224 metres high television tower. There is an observation deck at a height of 74 metres open to public daily for free. Many shops and restaurants are located near the tower including a crafts market to get some souvenirs.
