View Bratislava PackagesThe Bratislava Transport Museum, a branch of the Slovak Technical Museum, is located at Šancová 1/A, adjacent to the city's main railway station. Established in 1999, the museum is housed in the premises of Bratislava's first steam-engine railway station from the 19th century. A variety of vehicles, from early bicycles and motorcycles to personal cars and trucks from the interwar period up to the 1970s. Notable exhibits feature Czechoslovak motoring icons and a Soviet-built ZIL 115 limousine.
On the museum's railway tracks, visitors can view various steam and electric locomotives, including a 155-ton 1947 Škoda steam engine.
